Four PSJA ISD schools named to Texas Honor Roll for High Achievement in student success
PHARR – Four Pharr-San Juan-Alamo ISD (PSJA ISD) schools have been named to the 2023 Educational Results Partnership Honor Roll for their high achievement in student success. The program, sponsored by the Campaign for Business and Education Excellence (CBEE), is part of a national effort to identify higher-performing schools and districts that are improving student outcomes.
The Honor Roll is the only school recognition program presented in partnership with state business leaders and using solely objective student achievement data as the criteria. The goal of the Honor Roll is to find and highlight successful schools and districts and encourage collaboration among educators on best practices for raising student achievement. Approximately 12% of eligible schools and 10% of eligible districts made the Texas Honor Roll list.
The following PSJA ISD campuses are among the select public schools in Texas recognized:
-
Aida C Escobar Elementary
-
Carmen Anaya Elementary - Star
-
Allen & William Arnold Elementary - Star
-
PSJA Collegiate School of Health Professions
